Capital of the voivodeship of Podlasie
Nearly 300-thousand Bialystok is the largest city in the north-eastern Poland and capital of the voivodeship of Podlasie. It acts as an administrative, economic, scientific and cultural center of this part of the country, which due to its unique ecological value, is called the Green Lungs of Polish.
